  18. There are advantages and disadvantages to a mailing list.

  20. The biggest advantage is that there is very little preparation necessary
  21. for startup.  Just start the list and start the list and start eMailing.

  23. Some disadvantages to a mailing list is that if there are hundreds of
  24. messages a day, you get hundreds of eMail in your mailbox.  This can
  25. be inconvenient at times.  Someone has to maintain the list, especially
  26. if its moderated.

  28. Plus, don't forget that some international users have to pay for each
  29. eMail, whether they read it or not!
